HT officially launched its 2025 Safety Production Month during a company-wide meeting. The event, conducted to align with the spirit of the 2025 National Safety Month initiatives issued by the Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management, outlined the company’s implementation plan, goals, content, and requirements for the month.

The meeting centered on the theme of safe production. A targeted training program covered safety laws and regulations, hazard identification in the workplace, and analyses of common safety hazards to strengthen employees’ safety awareness and risk-detection capabilities.

All participants viewed an educational safety video for the 2025 Safety Production Month, drawing lessons from past accidents to reinforce risk awareness and the importance of preventive action.

A Tree of Safety ceremony was held to symbolize safety and hope. Participants watered the tree and scanned a QR code to launch it as a symbolic pledge.

The ceremony embodies safety commitments as acts of nurturing and safety actions as safeguards.

HT will treat today’s commitment as the starting point for persistent action, building a robust culture of safety and a safe, accident-free environment—an enduring foundation that supports the company’s long-term growth.

Joint effort for the tree of safety

Project manager representative Tian Xue delivered a practical talk on three focal areas: cultivating a proactive safety mindset, enforcing rules rigorously, and strengthening accountability across the organization. Her remarks highlighted strong safety leadership within HT.

Assistant to General Manager Li Fuquan emphasized a “full-staff safety responsibility system,” the involvement of professional engineers in safety training, standardized on-site management processes, and robust accountability mechanisms. He stressed that safety management must be decisive in addressing issues so that lessons from accidents become enduring reminders.

Deputy General Manager Dong Xinghong reiterated that “every month is Safety Month” and urged all staff to heighten safety awareness and avoid complacency, noting the severity of historical accident cases as sober warnings.

Deputy General Manager Song Mingjiang argued that safety work requires collective effort, not a single person’s responsibility. He called for a “full-staff hazard identification” mechanism, strengthened management of high-risk projects, adaptation of safety management to overseas projects, and the elimination of lax inspections and illicit practices.

General Manager Han Dong outlined five key dimensions: institutionalizing long-term safety management, establishing a system to prevent “gentle homicide” by avoiding overly soft enforcement; deepening an all-hands hazard snap system (snap -> rectify -> verify); elevating awareness through immersive safety training; compiling a standardized safety and civilized construction manual; and strengthening emergency preparedness.
