April 23 — Sun Xiaohua, deputy party secretary of the University of Science and Technology Liaoning (USTL), visited HT and met with HT’s General Manager, Han Dong. The two sides discussed university–industry cooperation in areas such as talent development and technological innovation.
Accompanied by General Manager Han Dong, the delegation visited HT’s Design and R&D Center and CDQ Remote Operations Center, gaining insight into HT’s innovation system and digital transformation. At the start of the meeting, Han praised the quality of USTL graduates, noting that several had become HT’s key personnel and contributed significantly to the company’s development. He then briefed Secretary Sun and his delegation on HT’s development history, service areas, R&D activities, and project achievements. Secretary Sun called the visit highly educational, thanked HT for recognizing USTL graduates, and said HT had reached the forefront of academic research and innovation.

USTL alumni representatives shared career insights and urged greater investment in industry–education integration, university–enterprise collaboration, and employment guidance. The university authorities gave a positive response.

Communication underway
In his concluding remarks, General Manager Han Dong thanked USTL and affirmed the university’s remarkable achievements in cultivating high-level talent. He emphasized that the university and the enterprise should deepen strategic collaboration, focusing on advancing joint experimental research facilities and tackling key technologies. This collaboration would build an integrated innovation system that deepens industry-education-research collaboration and jointly establish a benchmark for university-enterprise coordinated development.
