Actively responding to the guiding spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection tour of Liaoning Province before the Spring Festival, and to the “core values” emphasized by Hao Peng, secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, at the province’s first meeting in the Year of the Snake, technology firms are taking the lead in the decisive year of the three-year effort to improve the provincial business environment.

On February 20, a delegation led by Chai Feng, vice mayor of Anshan, and Ouyang Hongtai, deputy secretary-general of the Anshan municipal government, visited HT. They were joined by Wang Yan, director of the Anshan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and Kong Fanbao, party secretary of the Bureau.

At the Beijing venue, Dong Xinghong, deputy general manager, and Wang Shuangping, chief financial officer, attended the meeting. In Anshan, the delegation was received by Zhang Xiaoguang, deputy chief engineer; Shi Xuefeng, deputy chief engineer; and Fu Yongshun, deputy general manager of Huatai Environmental Energy.

Deputy General Manager Dong Xinghong opened with a report on the company’s 2024 operating and development performance and then projected revenue and total payroll for Q1 2025 and for the full year. He also analyzed how domestic industry conditions and overseas market opportunities may affect the company’s development. Fu Yongshun, Deputy General Manager of Huatai Environmental Energy, reported on practical development issues that require government coordination.

Chairwoman Wang Yan praised HT’s leading role in Anshan’s tech-innovation drive and pledged continued support from the Bureau of Science and Technology. She promised comprehensive assistance in policy guidance, services, and coordination, and set clear goals and action tasks to steer tech firms through the decisive year.

Vice Mayor Chai Feng praised HT’s development and urged HT to align with the provincial government’s advocacy, aiming for strong first-quarter revenues in Liaoning Province in 2025 and to set clear target tasks. Tech firms should press ahead to drive rapid economic growth and meet the 14th Five-Year Plan and the three-year action targets. He also stressed the importance of a favorable business environment, pledging to understand enterprises’ needs and help solve practical problems. The focus remains on increasing corporate convenience, boosting vitality, expanding services for enterprises, and reducing costs to improve the overall experience of doing business, so that the enterprises in Liaoning will feel fulfilled, respected, and a true sense of belonging.
